👀 How Do I Watch?

👹 Will the Grunch make an appearance?

Unlikely. According to mythology, the Grunch only appears during the actual holiday season. That's part of the reason we decided to stream in July. The other reason is...because it's fun 🙃. If anything, we'll have to watch out for the Grunch's cousin Spectrum Internet 😱

Thanks to your superb sleuthing skills, the Grunch DIDN’T crib our Kickstarter! 

 And just like that, it’s happening. We are beyond overjoyed to be performing & recording How The Grunch Cribbed Christmas live in LA this November! Additionally, since you helped us reach our 3 stretch goals, we will be recording a cast album, releasing Solve It Squad: Back In Biz on YouTube, & doing a holiday movie commentary with the real squad.

Look out for show/reward updates both here and on @tincanbros social media in the coming months, but in the meantime here is some key information:

TICKETS & DIGITAL TICKETS🎟

The live show will take place in Los Angeles, CA in November 2022. Exact dates & times have not yet been announced, but will be released in the coming weeks so people attending the show have plenty of time to make plans. KICKSTARTER REWARDS🎁

We are over the moon about our #TheGrunch kickstarter rewards🌛Backers will receive a survey from BackerKit in the coming weeks where you can input all relevant information (name, email address, mailing address, shirt size, etc.), so we can send out rewards in a timely manner. You will also be able to select your add-on choices (where applicable) and resolve any payment issues in the survey. STRETCH GOALS🙆‍♂️

Solve It Squad: Back In Biz on YouTube - These online shows from 2021 will begin airing on our Youtube Channel later this summer! We’ll be launching each episode as a premiere, so you and your friends can watch together and chat, while you enjoy (or relive) the madcap adventures of Scrags, Esther, Keith, & Gwen.

Cast Album - We do not currently have a timeline on the release of the Cast Album, but we will record it not long after the show closes in November!

Squad Holiday Movie Commentary  - Similarly, we do not currently have a release date for the Squad Commentary, but we’ll make sure you know when we do! Look out for a poll to help us decide which holiday movie to watch, in the near future.

Despite The Grunch...We Did It!!!🎉 (+Stretch Goals, Add-ons, & Final Livestream)

That’s right, friends…🤗

Thanks to your generous support we have reached our initial funding goal of $30,000! How the Grunch Cribbed Christmas is OFFICIALLY happening!! 🎊 This is an incredible achievement and we are humbled & moved that you have continued to back our creative endeavors over the years. It is our absolute joy to continue the Solve It Squad saga live on stage (and then digitally!) this Fall 🔎 🍂

We are also thrilled that we still have a week left of the campaign! That's more time to get the word out to friends who may be interested in backing the project 🔊 More time to up your pledge, if you want to show the Squad a little extra love 😍 And more time to livestream with the cast 💻 On our livestream this past Thursday (in additions to sick riffs & deep shares 🤙 ), we announced new stretch goals & add-on rewards for the campaign. Here’s what that means:

Stretch Goals 🙆‍♂️

Reaching $30K means that #TheGrunch is indeed being performed live in LA this November and will be recorded for digital release. Wooo!!! That being said, with processing fees & reward fulfillment, we could always use a bit more funding to help us reach our internal budget for producing the show 📊 At this point in our careers, our commitment to quality means that even a one-act musical requires a budget of $40K - $50K that properly compensates the cast & crew and creates a product worthy of the TCB brand. Not to mention all the additional costs that are incurred because we are creating both a live event as well as a high quality video product. 

TLDR 😜

We have stretch goals! The more funds we raise above our initial goal, the more fun we can bring you this holiday season 🎁 Stretch goals include a Cast Album📀, the release of Solve It Squad Back in Biz on YouTube 💻, & a Holiday Movie Commentary Track 🗯in character from the Squad!! We're already past $32K and under $3K to go until our first stretch (and under $8K till our second stretch 🥳) So let's go out with a bang in these final 7 days!!

Hello Backers,

Thank you so much for your terrific enthusiasm & support, so far, as we embark on our next Tin Can Bros adventure! The Solve It! Squad holds a very special (and slightly crass💩) place in our hearts and we are overjoyed that our newest Squad musical mystery is 2/3 funded in less than a week🤩  The non-denominational holidays are truly coming early this year!  

If you'd like to hang out with the cast & production team and learn more about the show, mark your calendars & set a reminder for our upcoming How The Grunch Cribbed Christmas! livestreams on YouTube! These stream are always a very fun part of the fundraising process for us, where we reveal details about the project, play games, & spotlight backers who pledge live on the stream in ridiculous ways 😜
